Rick & Brenda Osborn

Family

Rick & Brenda have been married since 1975. They have 3 children who are married and in full-time church ministry. They have 7 grandchildren.

Salvation

Rick was not raised in a Christian home. After turning down his best friend’s invitation to attend a Billy Graham Crusade four days in a row; on the final day he accepted the invitation. Rick heard the Gospel for the first time and when the invitation was given, he received Christ as his Savior!

Brenda was raised in a in a religious home, but didn’t hear the Gospel until she was 17 years old when their church had a family conference. It was at this time she accepted Christ as her Savior.

Ministry Training

Rick graduated from Maranatha Baptist College, in Watertown, WI in 1983. He received a Master’s degree from Trinity Baptist College, in Jacksonville, FL in 2006.

Church Ministry

Rick has served as youth pastor, asst. pastor, and 14 years as senior pastor before being called to missions. Brenda has taught in Christian education for 30 years.

Missions Today

Rick had taken several mission trips to help build churches during his years as pastor. Through his relationship with Dr. Edgar Feghaly of M.A.P. ministries (Middle East and Africa Partnership); God has lead the Osborns to go into full-time missions in Liberia & Ghana, West Africa. Their ministry is planting churches, training national pastors, annual Bible conferences, and providing leadership to existing churches.

Sending Church / Supporting Agency

The Osborn’s sending church is Temple Baptist Church in Sarasota, FL., with Gene Krachenfels as pastor. We are grateful for the help and services provided by World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions in Kings Mountain, NC.
