Recresio and Modesta Barbaso Recresio (Eric) was born in 1945 and lost his
wife of thirty-seven years, Modesta, in 2005.They have 2 children, Joseph and Jesse.He is now married to Hermie, a dear friend of the family for many
years.
Accepting Christ as his Savior in 1958 under the
Missionary Alliance Ministry in
ZamboangaCity,
Mindanao,
Philippines,
Recresio committed his life to full time service.When he graduated in 1961, however, he forgot
his promise and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree.Some time later, one of his children died
from an unknown ailment and this turned the course of his life, now fully
surrendered to the work of the Lord.
Recresio graduated from the Bible Baptist
Institute in
Davao City,
Philippines .
Pastor Barbaso started the work at
BibleBaptistChurch in
Tagum City,
Philippines
in 1975.He is currently a pastor there
along with his son, Jesse.
The main focus of this ministry is discipleship,
saturation and church planting.Thirty
missions and churches have been established thus far and 250 churches have bee
trained in discipleship.
