Dan and Louise have been married
since 1972.They have 2 children and 5
grandchildren
Dan’s father was a Baptist pastor
and Dan was saved when he was 7 years old at the Calvary Baptist Church in
Redford Michigan where his father was a pastor.Louise was saved at 13 years of age in a youth camp with the Vanborn
Baptist Church of Taylor, Michigan.
Dan felt God had called him to be a missionary during a
youth camp when he was 9 years old. He graduated from High School in Michigan
and attended the Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri.After graduating he and his wife Louise
started the New Testament Baptist Church, Huntington, Indiana. Dan also
continued his education at the Moody Bible Institute, Huntington College, and
the Maryland Theological Seminary. He has earned a B.A., B.S., and Master of
Theology degrees.
Louise attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield,
Missouri. She has continued her education through Moody Bible Institute, and
the Maryland Theological Seminary and holds B.A. in Education.
The Freemans went to Taiwan in 1979
and after 4 years of language studies they have started churches and disciple
new converts in 5 cities. They have planted 8 new churches and assumed
leadership in 3 others that were without pastors. They have ministered in China
and Hong Kong and currently lead the Chinese language ministries in a
partnership with Bro. John and Sis. Cathy Honeycutt to disciple and train
discipleship leaders in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
