JOHN AND CATHY HONEYCUTT

John was born in 1955 and has been married to his wife, Cathy for 30 years. They have 3 children, Amber, April and John.

Accepting Christ as his Savior in 1960 at Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, John was later called to full-time Christian work at Hume Lake Youth Camp in California at age 12.

John’s parents were involved in full-time ministry since 1955 and in the Philippines with the Bob Hughes family.  So, after finishing high school in the Philippines, John attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated in 1977 as a Missions Major and received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology.

The Honeycutts served for 10 years in local church ministry in the USA before God’s call to Asia.

Responding to God’s call in 1987, John & Cathy are activity involved as missionaries in Asia.  Their mission organization, Word in Need International, is active in 22 countries, actively establishing churches that multiply, accelerating the multiplication of disciples and strengthening the outreach of the gospel.  John and Cathy are based in Hong Kong where they are planting churches in and around the region.

Northwood Baptist Church of Royal Oak, Michigan and World in Need International Baptist Mission; the later established in 1973 by John’s father, Rev. John Honeycutt, Jr. and Rev. Bob Hughes.

These missionaries are choice servants of God. You and your church should be supporting them prayerfully and financially. Why miss out on an opportunity to expand your field and be part of the Lord's work with these faithful saints?
