Bob was born in 1958 and has been
married to his wife Marilyn for 29 years. They have three children; Trisha
(Brad) Carpenter, Tara (in college) and Tiffani who graduated from high school
in 2009.
Bob accepted Christ as a young
boy at the Shady Grove Youth Camp in Florida. As a teenager, he recommitted his
life to the Lord. Marilyn accepted Christ at a young age as well.
After graduating from high
school, Bob attended Massillon Baptist College, graduating in 1979. He has
furthered his studies and has a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies. Marilyn
has a bachelor’s degree and is working towards her master’s.
Bob was an assistant pastor for
over 12 years and then pastor of a church in Ohio for over 10 years. As an assistant
pastor and then as pastor, he led many mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala,
Ecuador, Guyana, Mongolia and several other countries. Marilyn has had the
opportunity to speak for many ladies meetings and continues to do so. She is
also and accomplished singer/songwriter.
Responding to God’s call to
missions in 1996, Bob and Marilyn began working towards ministry in Mongolia.
While in Mongolia, Bob contracted a form of hepatitis. After 9 months of
recovery, the Hutton’s were informed that Mongolia would not be a country where
they would be able to live. Knowing that the Lord wanted them in missions, the
Lord has opened the door for the Hutton’s to begin ministry in Mallow, County
Cork Ireland where they will be establishing a church, discipling Christians
and furthering the gospel of Christ. Ireland is a country with less than 20
Bible believing works.
The sending Church for Bob and
Marilyn is: Canton Baptist Temple, Canton, Ohio.
These missionaries are choice
servants of God. You and your church should be supporting them prayerfully and
financially. Why miss out on an opportunity to expand your field and be part of
the Lord's work with these faithful saints?
