The purpose of S.O.L.I.D. Youth Ministry is to honor God with our lives by sharing our faith in Jesus Christ, by serving others, and by obeying God's Word to prove our commitment.

Read, reflect, and respond to God's Word - read the assigned daily passage of scripture, reflect & pray, and respond by writing out the verse(s) that stand out and why. Quiet Time Journals are still available for $10. A public time of sharing is part of each youth meeting.
Current Reading: Check the front board in the youth room for the suggested book of the Bible and
chapter schedule or read in a book of your choice. Come to youth meetings ready
to share what the Lord is teaching you!
ONE ON ONE DISCIPLESHIP
"And the things that thou hast heard of me among
many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also." II Timothy 2:2
Offered at any time to any interested student who wants to grow deeper in their walk with Christ.
MISSIONS FOCUS
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8
We have adopted the FBCJ's missionary Brother David Sullivan, local missionary to the youth prison facilities in Stark and Wayne counties, as our own missionary.

ACTIVITIES

MONTHLY - Check the Calendar for dates and details - typically, there is one organized activity each month ( i.e. game night, Judgment House, Winter Retreat, Dare2Share Youth Conference, Video Road Rally, bowling, Superbowl Party, Lazer Tag, Whirlyball)
SUMMER - Youth Camp is the highlight usually in early-mid June and one ministry service project such as serving for Vacation Bible School.
